Born in La Mirada, CA, I grew up with 5 other brothers where football was the “family business”. All of us competed at high levels with one of my brothers Matt, enjoying a 14-year career in the NFL. I attended and played Division 1 for the University of Washington Huskies.
All of this to say I bring a lot of the competitiveness I grew up with to my insurance agency. We aspire to be the best and that means very simply providing legendary value and service for our clients. I came into the insurance business in 2001 as an agent for a local, Castle Rock, independent agency. I purchased a book of clients from that agency in 2003 and partnered with them for 7 years before dissolving that partnership and going totally independent with Rocky Mountain Insurance Advisors in 2010.
I have been operating my agency from Castle Rock, CO for 23 years now. I am a fitness fanatic and spend a lot of time in the gym. I found golfing about 5 years ago and absolutely love the game… I think it’s the competitive nature of it. My son and daughter are both in their 20’s, making their way in the professional-world and I am so very proud of them both. I love The Lord Jesus Christ and I cannot get enough of all things Scripture and Theology.
I come to Rocky Mountain Insurance Advisors with over 30 years of experience in the personal lines insurance industry. I have worked with many carriers and have a very diverse background and understanding of coverage needed to protect you and your families. On my off hours I enjoy getting together with my church family on Sundays and then camping, fishing, kayaking etc.., pretty much anything the entails my going up to our beautiful Colorado Mountains, the serene surroundings of nature and the blessings it provides. “I started in the Insurance business in 1982 working in a small agency doing filing and claims, getting licensed in Pennsylvania that year.
During the course of my career I worked in personal lines for approximately 10 years and then transitioned over to commercial lines.
I have completed many additional continuing education courses over the years obtaining my AAI, CISR and CIC designations.
I moved to Colorado in 2019 to be near my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. I also have a grandson residing in Pennsylvania working in IT.
I live in Craig, Colorado… west of Steamboat with my husband Scott and Sheltie, Angus.”
